I've been here a few times and it's been consistent Service is big for me, and this place is great in that respect. It's small but really clean with nice decor. It's relatively inexpensive and the portions are just right for a guy who likes to eat. The vegetables are fresh. I like real spicy food and you can order it that way if you like. "Thai hot "is really hot They have a nice menu and the servers can tell you about the different selections. It would be nice if you could get a Coors Light there but they don't serve alcohol. I have always eaten in but you can get "take out"

Excellent every time we go. Love the curries... Yellow curry noodle bowl is awesome.

I'm a huge pad thai fan and this place really hits that spot! If you really like your food spicy, look no further! Order it in 'Thai Hot' :)

For CS this place is seriously good. It's so hard to find really good ethnic food in this town. I had the Pad Thai and it was really good, especially since they didn't shy away from the spice. I like it hot and it was hot! I also had their Thai coffee, and it was a little heavy on the cream... but good. Plus the Thai egg rolls, which was also good. I was thrown a bit by the chinese stuff on the menu, like wonton soup, or Japanese like miso soup... but, seems to be a theme of mixing items in this town. Its a really clean locally owned place with bright colors and friendly staff. I'd go again for sure... maybe to try the Laab this time.

I have been here quite a few times and every time their food is delicious. The best chicken pad Thai and Thai tea around!!! Very quaint and very delicious. The mark of a great restaurant is in their consistency in serving great food and this place has never fallen short of my expectations always delicious.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs. Delicious curries! My favorite is the noodles with yellow curry. Spice level has varied a little with my trips, but in general, the hottest actually has enough heat for me (I love spice!). Service is always nice and quick. It's great for lunch or take-out. Don't go on Wednesdays, they're closed!

I just came back from Arharn Thai in Colorado Springs. My husband and I both love Lad na aka Rad na, ride rice noodles with a soybean gravy. My husband ordered his with chicken and I ordered mine with vegetables. In all the Thai restaurants we've always had it in a plate with gravy covering it but not overwhelming the noodles and veggies, but at the last two Thai places we've tried it, they've served it in a soup bowl with way too much gravy, the noodles and veggies literally swimming in gravy. This is one of those places. There was also a very pronounced burned/incense taste that lasted way after the meal was over. I'm not writing this place off as the service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and there are many other dishes I would love to try. But I think I will stick with having my Lad/Rad Na at Thai Mint off Briargate Blvd across from the Chapel Hills Mall. Also Narai Thai off Rockrimmon in the Safeway parking lot has excellent Lad/Rad Na, they also have the best yellow coconut curry ever!

The Powers Corridor: a wilderness of surface parking, chain restaurants, pre-fab housing, and bad taste. Arharn Thai is an oasis of good Thai food in this wasteland - excellent curries, fresh ingredients, prompt and friendly service. Inexpensive too. Can recommend any of the curries, Pad Thai, and the only meat eater with us ordered a good looking plate of Satay Chicken. Would give four stars if they offered beer/wine.

after reading such great reviews of this place my husband and i tried it... and the only good thing i have to say is, that its a cute little building.. we were not as in love with this place as everyone else.. In our old town before we moved here... we ate thai alot.. 2 time a month maybe.. The place we went to was own by a man from thailand.. and his food was great ... soo much for soo little a price.. and no msg.. everything was fresh. that being said.. this place had an okay.. Chicken satay and the little cucumber salad that came with it was actually flavorfull i ordered chicken pad thai.. as a " if they mess this up they are gonna eb terrible" dish... and it was bland... so i asked for chili sauce that was drenched.. DRENCHED in oil.. i have shopped at many thai stores and have never really seen an chili sauce drenched in oil... my husband ordered chicken pad se ew... which is his favorite.. and he hated his as well.. it just didnt have flavor.. granted, his was much better than mine i mean for crying out loud.. pad thai is a staple.. its like a national dish for crying out loud... we wont be going back to this place...

By far my favorite Thai place in the springs. Small, quaint and very reasonably priced. And the food is really good. I really like their Jungle curry or their Pad Thai.

Living in big cities with great options for Thai food I tend to be picky but I knew I had to lower my standards for Colorado Springs. Good thing because this place was not good at all. As a vegetarian not having as many options I have to say this place was a big disappointment. It was like they had zero experience with tofu. So vegetarians save your self money and time this place lacks know how in making a good vegetarian meal. Alternatively, there's a great Thai place next to Boston Market off of Powers next to the Sports store selling used equipment. Not fancy at all but they seriously know what to do with spices and tofu! My meat eating finance said the chicken was delicious! Go there instead.

Finally! A real Thai restaurant in the Springs worth mulitple visits. This is a must-try spot for Thai food fans. The service is good, prices are low for the quality of food, and the flavors of each dish are wonderful. In fact, writing this review makes my mouth water thinking about my next meal here. On this visit, I tried the Green Curry and Salt fish Fried Rice. The Green Curry had a great flavor and a perfect amount of spice. I order Thai hot, which had a kick, but was not too hot to enjoy the flavors. If you like a small kick to your food, go with hot. If you want a little more heat than that, go with the Thai hot. The Salt Fish Fried Rice was awesome! The Tilapia was perfectly cooked and the combinaton of flavors in this dish were music to my mouth. With each bite, my mouth yearned for more. Love this dish! The Thai hot choice on this dish was definitely what I expect from Thai hot. In fact, toward the end of the plate I was starting to sweat a little and needed a fews drinks of water. Amazing how the heat on this dish was much higher than that of the Thai hot on the Green Curry. The coconut milk definitely eased the heat in the curry. The fried rice was a touch too salty, but then again it is called Salt Fish, so I should expect that right? Still, a great dish. FYI...Arharn Thai is closed on Wednesday's, but open every other day of the week. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

Great food! Very quick, friendly service. Portions were fine for me but my man needed two entrees (not uncommon for him since he is a big eater and loves Thai!) really cheap for what you get too. Nice ambiance for a strip mall.

I thought this place was ok. I would not go out of my way to eat here again, but if I'm in the area jonesing for some thai I may or may not stop. The service was fabulous; never had to wait for anything (thus the third star). It was quite clean. I thought the decor was a little cheesy, but hey, I came to eat, not stare at the rubber plants. The food was average. I've had worse, but I've had much better at other places in town. My crab rangoons were not thorougly cooked; the wrappers were a bit soggy and gooey. My pad thai was cold. I had asked for vegitarian, so it came with 5 peices of broccoli. I asked for medium spicy and it was pretty bland. My friend had the egg drop soup and said it was quite salt, but she really like the egg rolls. The portions were on the smaller side for the thai places in town, but the prices are a little lower as well.

I'm Thai and would have to say this is the closest to mom's cooking you can get in Colorado Springs. It's good enough that we don't cook Thai food at home anymore. You have to try their mango with sweet sticky rice. It tastes just like we had in Thailand when we went back to visit. The staff is real friendly as well and unfortunately for us they seem to recognize us every time we come in. I guess that's what happens when you eat here once or twice every week. :) Oh, if you were wondering why I only gave it 4 stars. Mom might get offended if I gave this place 5 stars and refuse to cook for us when she comes out to visit. hehe edit: They've added new items to their menu and my wife loves the Moo Gra-Thaim (Garlic Pork). It's gluten free and the texture reminds her of the texture of Mongolian Beef. She liked it enough that we went here two days in a row for lunch to order her the same thing. :)

Located right next to Ultimate buffet, might be hard to see Arharn sign because it's cursive. Clean, fast. and friendly service, I will definitely be back if I'm in Springs.

Best Thai place in springs IMO. I mostly always get the same thing; yellow curry with noodles. It's so good! I also love their coconut juice, you should try it. Anyways, service is decent and atmosphere is chill. This is my go to spot when I have a Thai craving!

Ambiance: Small, cute and clean little place in a brand new strip mall off the Powers Corridor. I'd say about 15 tables. Place was nice and cool on a hot and muggy summer evening. Service: We found the servers delightful and very attentive. Made us feel very welcomed and were genuinely grateful that we came in to their restaurant. Food: For Colorado Springs, this place is about as good as it gets. Very good pad Thai. Well seasoned (you have your choices of four degrees, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot) - I went with medium, but will upgrade to hot next time. Overall, it took me awhile to drive out to Powers and try this place, but so glad I did. I am torn between this place and NaRai (which is located very near me in the Rockrimmon neighborhood) for best Thai in the Springs. As others have said, the best Thai ever is in places like San Francisco and Seattle, but I am very happy with this place, and looking forward to returning and trying some if their curries and soups. Take the drive to Powers - worth it!

Now this is the place! if ou like Thai, wow... This is THE PLACE! the food is always good and is actually addictive, so be careful. My wife and I must control ourselves or we would eat here every night if we could. the prices are reasonable and the portions perfect. Now I dont know about you but I like my food spicy and these folk's do not disappoint. Eaten here often, yes I have and I must say not once have a had a plate I did not like. This is a must try! Llegenle! (spanish for check it out!)

My partner-in-crime and I decided to try Arharn on a Friday night. We walked in and grabbed a seat, and were promptly helped by one of the three women working front-of-house. Our server was helpful and friendly, and made several suggestions about food and drink over the course of the night. When ordering, you're asked to specify the protein and spice level of whatever you're getting. I had the beef Panang (Thai Hot... of course), and my opposite ordered the mild Pad Thai with chicken. Our food came out in probably right around 5 minutes, along with some cool bright green chopsticks that my friend wanted desperately to steal. My curry was fantastic - unlike some places where the curries are completely overwhelmed with spice, coconut milk, or some other single element of the dish, this had a harmonious mixture of flavors that was absolutely fantastic. I had a bite of the Pad Thai that was pretty tasty as well, though I would have liked it with more spice... which is perfect, because you can get it with more spice if you want! Unfortunately, we were both too full to stay for dessert. There are a small handful of different dessert offerings, including mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream. I'll definitely be back to try these. There are a few things about Arharn that didn't particularly bother me, but might put off some diners. Don't expect any mood lighting - the lights are kept on full bright, and the background music is, for some inexplicable reason, classic rock (at least when I was there). Privacy is pretty low as well - there's pretty limited space in the dining room, so tables are set up to maximize seating. If you're looking for an intimate date night, this probably isn't it - call ahead and place your order for takeout, instead, then bring it home and watch a movie.

The food was probably in the 4 star range, but once you throw in the value quotient, it kicks it up to 5 stars. We had the crab wontons to start. They were tasty, crisp, and light. We had 3 entrees (Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken in Black Sauce, and Chicken Panang). The family had never tried mango sticky rice, so we ended with that. They are fans now, so I see more sticky rice in the future. The service was average but the food came out quick. And now for the punchline.... We got out the door for $35 including tip. For good Thai food, that sounded like a deal to us. We're just here for vacation and won't be back. Glad Yelp helped us find this place.

Excellent!! I always try to order something new here because you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Staff is always friendly, nice and attentive. Entrees are very reasonably priced. Overall a great place for an amazing Thai experience!!! Love love love!!!

A pretty small place, wouldn't reccoment large groups or children. I've been here twice with my boyfriend and it's been good both times. Tried the pad thai wrapped in omelet the first time, and it was a little too much, would just stick to plain pad thai. The appetizers are very good, and taste fresh (not something that was frozen and then deep fried). Crab Wontons are very good. Haven't eaten any seafood or non noodle dishes here, but will keep coming back and trying more.

some fine thai food tucked away in the cookie cutter environs of powers blvd. (very convenient when wandering the eastern plains looking for that comfortable, familiar shopping experience full of gas guzzling cars and perfectly designed box stores) so the food...tasty and fresh with good spice. i am a fan of bhan thai, this is the east east side version, if i was comparing i would mention arharn is about $1 more expensive per dish. pleasant staff. the interior is as good as it can be in the strip mall location.

Being from the DC metro area, I came to expect mediocrity from any ethnic restaurants in Colorado Springs. Arharn Thai was a pleasant surprise; it could compete with most of the Thai restaurants back east, and the prices are very reasonable ($6-$8 entree, $2-$4 appetizers). The Panang Curry is my favorite here. I order takeout from here about once a week, and they usually have my food ready within 10-15 minutes. If you miss the Thai restaurants from California or the East Coast, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

I am always on the alert for good Thai and Vietnamese restaurants... We tried this place out a few weeks ago.. The service was friendly and the food tasted great... I ordered the Pad Thai, as a tried and true to "test" any Thai place that I haven't been to before. They have a standard scale of spice... to which I always go for the most hot.... I learned they have a "911" spice level that is above the "Thai Hot".... As I have already burned off all my taste buds I went for it.... Have definitely had hotter, but the flavor was absolutely there. Nothing worse when some place goes extra hot but no flavor....

Whet here with my family of five. They were very helpful at changing items on the menu for picky eaters. The food was great!

Tried this place for the first time today (a Sunday afternoon). Had three small children along so finding something not-so-spicey and kid-friendly was a must. We were blown away by the relaxing/clean surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and quick service! We enjoyed Pad Green Curry Paste (yummy!), Gai Pad Se-Ew (Chicken With Sweet Soy Sauce) (very sweet!), Pad Se Ew (Black Soy Noodles) (the kids LOVED this!), and a vegetarian egg roll (a little over-fried for my liking - couldn't really taste the roll because the outer fried layer was so crunchy and thick). The most important point I'd like to make about this particular dining experience though is that it really was an all-around pleasant experience. The food was very good, very reasonably priced ($30 for 2 adults/3 kids), the service was excellent and we ate everything (and I do mean everything) on our plates (i.e. no waste - our entrees were the perfect amount to consume in one sitting). We'll definitely be going back. I would love to give this place 5 stars but I'll need to find some other menu items there that appeal to me more than what I ordered before I offer up that 5th star.

I would have gone 3.75 stars if I could because 3 seems like I didn't like it, but I did. It was really good. Just not a 4. My wife and I split an order of the green curry chicken hot (not thai hot) and an order of the pad thai. Both were good. We also had the tom kha gai (Thai Coconut Soup) which was not quite as creamy as I'm used to. Also seemed like the spices were toned down. Bland would be too strong of a word, it was not bland, it just usually pops with spices and lime and cilantro and those tastes were there, just a little bit tame. The restaurant was nice and clean, the food came quickly and the prices were reasonable. With our server it seemed as if there was language barrier because she didn't say but 5 words the entire time, but as we were leaving she approached the table behind us which seemed to be a friend or acquaintance and had a lengthy conversation in perfect english, so it wasn't that. Will I go back? You bet! Would I recommend it? Without hesitation!

As a resident of Lakewood, I am not familiar with the Thai selections in the Springs. So I went to Yelp on my mobile typed in Thai for the Springs and looked for a highly rated place with at least 10 reviews ( I am now the 11th reviewer) I had the Pad Thai Woon Sen. medium with chicken only. Sorry Tommy's Thai, but they have you beat on this one. The perfect amount of all white meat chicken, just tender enough, not overcooked. My friend had the Massaman Curry. This dish can be hit a high note like Mariah Carey or can make you run screaming for the nearest restroom. I had a few bites..until my friend gave me the look, and it was a nice balance of coconut milk, not too heavy, lots of red peppers (bonus Vitamin C). We were wary of the hot ginger tea, I am all about flavored Celestial Seasonings.... but pleased when it came out in a bowl that would have fit an entire box of cereal. Definitely a hangover treat, but good without having imbibed. I got an order of the Pad Thai (regular noodles) to go for my fiance and he ate it a few days later. He wants to judge it fresh, but the drive would kill us. Service was great, not being natives I needed a little help getting to the airport. It's very close and they saved us time, giving us a shortcut.

I love going here, always get something new off the menu, I have never been let down here. The service is always great and the food, the food is awesome! I really like the large selection and there are so many choices, I always like coming here and will continue to do so.

Delicious and authentic Thai food. I lived in Chicago for awhile and was spoiled with dozens of restaurants all within walking distance. My favorite Thai place was right down the road and this place rivals it. The chicken satay was smaller than I expected so I probably won't order it again, but the pad thai was AMAZING. They have the right blend of sweet, sour, and hot (if you're into it). They offer a version of pad thai wrapped in egg which they explained is more traditional. Other reviewers claimed it was spicy, but I ordered it medium and needed extra chili paste to kick it up. Maybe they toned it down due to some of these reviews, but next time I'll have to go Med/Hot. The prices are really great and the staff is very friendly. This is my new favorite place to eat in Colorado Springs.

When you go here you have to start with the green papya salad. The fresh, light, citrcius and spice all make this a crave worthy salad. Every meal we have had has been amazing. Recently I went with a friend from Thailand and she agreeded that this food was authentic and delicious. They do not serve alcohol, but that does not stop me from driving out of my way to go there

My husband and I have been here twice. The restaurant is very clean, well, lit, relaxing decor, chic, quaint and did I mention clean...a huge plus for an Asian restaurant as this seems to be a bit of a problem at many Asian places. The restroom was clean and didnt stink. Prices are reasonable. Between 6 and 9 dollars for an entree. My husband and daughter had Pad Thai and it was very good while I had Curry with chicken.....I ordered it medium and it came out very very hot. I didnt complain and understand that the spiciness is hard to control/regulate so these things happen.I recommend you order everything mild and ask for a spice tray to spice and heat it up yourself. Wait staff very very nice. We were asked 3 times if our food was good and if we needed anything. I LOVE water and didnt have to wait for it even though I had my glass refilled 4 or 5 times. Really like this cute little place.

I visited Arharn Thai with a group of 6 for lunch and there was not an empty plate anywhere on the table when we were done. The service and atmosphere were as good as it gets and the food was excellent. I only have a few weeks here in the Springs but I will make it a point to eat here again before I leave. In contrast to other reviewers, I thought that the Thai tea was very good. I highly recommend Arharn Thai.

Excellent. If it is your first time get the n1, n2 or n5. Medium or hot is a good amount of spice.

This is the only Thai place I've tried in Colorado, but it's delicious and most important, it's NOT a chain. I had the pad thai and though it nearly burned my mouth off, I'd order it again, and again. And again, maybe.

    (4)
  • Brandon G.

For the price, it's fantastic Thai food. I would be spending a few more dollars for the quality you get here. My favorites are the pad kee mao and the fried rice with the pineapple. I'd recommend getting these done spicy. Also, their iced coffee is pretty good (and a large is a big serving as a warning). Better choice than walking over to the buffet next door!

Our first visit to Araharn was a few weeks ago on a whim. The Powers corridor is awash with chains so we thought we would try something new. The interior is bright and modern, the staff is very attentive and helpful. We ordered a couple of curries and the Drunken Noodles. The curries were nice, but the Drunken Noodles stole the evening, excellent texture and a little spice. Tonight was my second visit to Arharn Thai. I called ahead for take out, I was warmly greeted as I entered and my order was already ready to go, they quickly ran my CC and I was headed home for the evening. Tonight, I chose the Choo Chee Pla (Panang Fish Curry), medium/hot. It was delicious! Fresh veggies, nicely fried fish and an excellent coconut milk and curry sauce. Arharn is highly recommended, hopefully the chain restaurant zombies of the Powers corridor will find this place and keep them in business.

Great food, great price Ambience: Clean and well appointed. Possibly a little packed but that's more a reflection on the fact that word has gotten out about how good this place is. Service: Friendly waitresses, fast service. The staff are all careful to warn people that their hot means hot. Most customers are too proud to listen (which makes it amusing to hear them whine later on) but at least they try. Food: Fresh and really really tasty. Lots of variation, with everything from curries, noodle bowls, stir-frys and Asian soups. I have tried the summer rolls and gyoza appetizers and they were good. But the entrees of Pad Prig Prow Talay and the Tom Yum Seafood were both excellent. The "medium" will be plenty spicy for most and "spicy" only for the truly tough. Seriously, don't try the "Thai spicy" unless you were eating scotch bonnets from the time you stopped breast-feeding. My only negatives were a disappointing sweet sticky rice (a little too sweet) and no alcohol license. Price: Can't beat it - my friend bought two dinners and drinks (with tip) for $18. I'm getting take-out next any time I'm in the area from now on.

Dont waste your time or money. It used to be good and great service. I had a great review for them before but I had revoke today after going several times lately and giving them a benefit of doubt. If you ask for less ice in a drink... Not none.. They will charge you more for the drink. Then if asked to make food ahead of time so hungry kids can eat at the restaurant right away, it was a NO. I had to pick up and leave because of lousy service..

  • Aaron K.

Angie and I have been going to Arharn Thai since it opened and have loved it since day one. The food and service are excellent and you just can't beat the prices. An excellent, full to-go authentic Thai meal with meats for around $7 in 10 minutes or less? Even the appetizers are superb. You can't go wrong with Arharn so help us support it to the feed trough for the obese Ultimate Buffet next door doesn't shut it down.

  • David L.

Great food at great prices. Just ignore everyone on Yelp who says it's not hot enough for them. There are 4 choices - mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. Hot is VERY hot. So medium hot is spicy enough for most people, even those who like lots of chili paste/Sriachi. I had the "Drunken Noodles" which you can see in one of the pictures. My friend had the Pad Thai (no egg). Both were excellent. There is a Chinese Buffet next door that I enjoy more but since I'm not always in the mood to pig out, this is a nice cheaper alternative. The staff are friendly in a perfunctory way but high school & college kids.

what the hell were you guys thinking.. it is BY FAR the worst Thai food i ever had.. they made no considerations for my child who is a adventurous eater, and every thing they gave us was so overly Americanized that it was like going to a mall food court. go some where that will actually serve you with out a nasty stuck up server (would not take a spice request.. i like mine in between the set standards they had) as it was too much work for him to walk into the kitchen and tell the cook. then well all the food was so bad and lacking even in basics.. that we DID in fact tip the idiot 10 cents... and go to YES waffle house after.. because "at least they feed you" and gave our server there.. the idiots tip. that Thai WORST FOOD EVER!!! as we quipped on the way to waffle house "at least with a pity screw you have the luxury of being drunk when you get screwed" as a professional cook i could rip this place a part dish by dish but why bother.. sincerely hope every one on here gets a clue and stops going.. places that serve that bad of food need to be shut down... ... expert pick on best of the springs.. man i want part of the cash the owner slipped the writer.

This place is amazing..... I am a frequent visitor to Thailand so I know authentic Thai food..... The food here was fabulous and took me back to my favorite eateries in Bangkok.... I tried the salt fish fried rice (Thai hot) and my favorite dish Tom yung goong (Thai hot)..... Excellent service and one of my pep peevs is to keep my water glass full and I was very pleased with both! If you have never been this place is a must visit.

The menu selection is the average Thai restaurant in America: mostly noodles or curry and a few salads and soups. The atmosphere is nicer than the average Asian hole-in-the-wall. We tried to order something not on the menu, but they were not willing to make the dishes we requested. We only ended up trying one dish, Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). it was decent, good for springs, but then i had the same dish a couple weeks later at another restaurant in Littleton, Udom Thai. And yes, Arharn did not seem that good or worthy of a half hour drive anymore. Yakitori or narai will be good enough here on the westside and i can save the driving for a denver trip. if i'm in the area, I would definitely try Arharn again and try several more dishes.

  • Brian D.

Really good, fresh, and made to your taste. After talking to the waiter, I got the feeling the menu was just a place to start and they would make just about anything you wanted. The place has aroud 15-20 tables and they were almost full on a Tuesday night which is a good sign. The portions here are not the massive plates you get used to at Fudruckers or other typical chains, but the quality is sooo much better. Will definetly repeat, now that I can find it - its small and hidden behind the discount liquor store next to the Chinese place.

A restaurant that doesn't offer you options to use chopsticks. I complained about my entree and my server made no attempt to let me switch my entree out. They don't use fresh Thai chillis or even fresh limes. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and especially the service is terrible.

Let me start this review off by saying this is a 5 star Thai place FOR COLORADO SPRINGS. I come from Seattle and finding quality Asian food here in Colorado Springs has been hard. (At least to the exacting standards I had come to expect in Seattle) So while I would typically only give this place a 3.5 star review in Seattle I feel like finding a quality Thai place here in town is hard, so I am going to give them the review to go with it. The atmosphere of the place isn't hugely inviting to stay and enjoy yourself, but the food is pretty good. So if you stay or take it home with you order a couple things and enjoy yourself.

Edited from 5 to 3: Fresh and clean! The menu offers a wide selection, and the food is usually tasty...I had to add "usually" because I have been there many times and it is spot on about 6 out of 10 times...but, when has been off--I definitely noticed. It seems like some cooks are better than others and the recipes are not consistent. Pad Thai, spring rolls, and various curries are the foods I mostly order and each dish has been either awesome and flavorful during dinner or lacking some ingredient during the lunchtime hours. So-with that said, if you go at dinner time you should have a phenomenal experience, but the lunchtime cook is only so-so.

I am not an expert on Thai food but this is really good. I had the yellow curry and I asked for it hot and it was about right. I will definitely come back.

Best Thai in town. Of course, I have only had one other place in town that was not really bad.

I have been 3 times now. Food is excellent and staff is friendly and very attentive. If you like Thai food you will love this place.

Very nice shop, modern but casual. Perfect for a good lunch or dinner. Excellent food, good flavor and spice. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go here again. Didn't care for the rice cake dessert, but I think it's more of a personal preference to want a sweeter dessert. Love the large glasses of Thai iced tea.

Happened upon this gem and so glad we did! Part of our family went to Smash burger and we went here...Tom ka Gai soup was so delicious and we had pad Thai with tofu...yummy!!! We were here from Arizona visiting family...now we have turned them on to this place! We'll be back...

Surprised how good it was at lunch and then went back at supper to take home. The prices were good and the food delicious. Mild spicy was almost too spicy for us but worth the sweat.

I came here for lunch with my brothers girlfriend. I had some pinapple curry chicken dish and I thought it was good, however the curry seemed a little watered down. Not as thick as I would like it to be. The place has very nice decor. The plants separating the tables bring a nice touch. The prices were decent. I would come back if in the area, but this wouldnt be my top choice.

Wow. I had previously reviewed another restaurant as "the only restaurant in Colorado Springs serving actual Thai food," but now that I've tried Arharn Thai a few times, the other place is forgotten. This is the real deal. It's hot, spicy, fresh, and chock-full of real Thai ingredients. This is the kind of Thai food I remember from Southern California, and pretty close to the food I ate in Thailand (but thankfully not as painfully hot!) Very attractive decor and pleasant service, too. Arharn is a long drive for me, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice.

My husband and I really enjoy Thai food, and we think we've found our place in Colorado Springs. We have eaten in the restaurant and also had take out, and both were delicious. I would definitely say to go a step higher than you think you want on the spice, b/c it tends to be a bit milder than we anticipate. When we've eaten there (with our young children), the staff is always friendly, and we're able to find something for them to eat. The prices are also very reasonable.

Had a nice lunch Sunday with The Missus, Daughter and Grandson. We all remarked at the yummy smells once the door opened. Missus wasn't so keen on the decor, but Daughter and I thought it was fine. I noticed some Chinese items (dumplings) on the menu - this can be a sign you're in a Chinese restaurant no matter what the menu says. Still, I can't resist an order of pot stickers and these were crispy fried and delicious. I had Panang curry and The Missus pad prik pow. My curry was perfect: "hot" just as I ordered it - always a nice touch - and just delicious. The Missus, who's often less-than-enthusiastic about my mostly Asian diet, loved her pad prik pow - high praise indeed! But the real star of the show was Daughter's salt-fish fried rice... OMG it was SO good - LOADS of tender tilapia fish in a yummy Thai fried rice. If you like fried rice, Thai FR will make you swear off the so-called fried rice from the Chinese places but this was above-and-beyond - excellent! Little Grandson didn't wake to complain about Mom dropping bits of fried rice on his lil' noggin, nor was he distracted by all the yummy sounds Mom and Grandparents were making - he slept thru the whole thing. He's a little young (8 weeks) for solid food tho, so it's OK. Bottom line: DAMN good Thai in the 'Springs - good service, good presentation and above all great food, at a great price too! 4 stars!

Following the lead of several Yelpers' reviews, we made our first visit here today for lunch. It was great! We had massaman curry w/ chicken, the spicy fish (Pla Lad Prig), rice, tea (green & Jasmine) and summer rolls. Everything was fresh; service was quick; flavors were outstanding. I agree with other raters; this place is solid and a great addition to N. Powers area. Want to go back and try other flavors; but, if you haven't been, give it a try.

Ambiance- 3. Nicely decorated. Cleanliness- 3. The base of the planters needed to be cleaned, and the dining room needed to be swept. Men's and women's restrooms could use attention. Service- 4. Prompt and attentive. Food- 3. It was good, but not great. Average Thai cuisine. We had the pad kra pow vegetables which was okay, and the masaman chicken sauce was flavored nicely, but a little thin. The summer rolls were okay. Value- 4. Nice portion reasonably priced.

This is my go to place for Thai in the springs. I love the portions they give and, most importantly, they are not afraid to turn up the heat with the food, if you ask. That is all.

Delicious food, pad thai, crab rangoons, any of the curry or soups this place is just terrific. I have been here multiple time and have not yet had a bad meal. The staff is very professional and make sure you are taken care of while dining. If you feel like some delicious Thai food you should try this place

This is a difficult followup review to give, as I have been a loyal Arharn customer since they opened. Were it not for me and my fellow University friends I don't know how long they would have stayed in business. I will always opt to support local business over franchises, but over the years the service at Arharn has deteriorated and feels very generic. Example: the other day I made my normal "to go" order and asked for a large water, I was happy to pay for the cup, or even the full price of a drink, I had just done the incline and my Camelbak was fresh out of water so I was desperate. The response I got from the cashier is that I could only have a small cup water and that the bigger cups were for soda. Unacceptable! The food is still decent but there are plenty of other options locally for good Thai food where the service is superior. Having made it a goal to keep this place around I now have no such inclinations. Whether they stay afloat or sink is of no consequence. If you are looking for better service and food check out Lanna Thai on Research and Union in the Albertson's shopping center, their curries and Pad Thai are far superior.

Eh, this place was okay. First I ordered appetizers for my bf and I. It was kind of like a sampler. It had Siu Mai (which I thought was just Chinese), potstickers and one piece of shrimp that was skewered and wrapped in crispy noodles. The Siu Mai was not that hot, the potstickers were slightly stale and that shrimp cocoon thing was just not that appetizing. We also ordered Thai iced tea, which was good, but I feel I've had better. I looked at their menu and it says if u ask for Thai iced tea without ice they charge you 50 cents and it made me laugh. But the nice thing is that the Thai iced tea is only $2 for a small. When we got our entrees, my bf had pad see ew. It had a lot of noodles, but barely anything else. Supposedly it has broccoli and gai lan, but the vegetables were pretty sparse. Also, the texture of the noodles kind of tasted like they were old noodles and weren't fresh. When I got my pad kra pow, I had wished I ordered a curry instead. It was okay. I just wasn't too impressed with the place. I would go here again. Seriously, where are all the good restaurants in Colorado Springs???

Good food, clean place. Smaller portions and more expensive than other Thai places in town. The Garlic chicken and green curry are two of our favs.

Liked this place. My roommate has been here befofe. And this was my first time. I ordered curry and it was decent. I rarely Thai food here in the States, and the most Thai food I had was in Germany. So I am not sure if it's better than other Thai places in the Springs. But this place is very clean, staff is nice and I liked the food as well

  • Johnny E.

Bottom line...service a great but not a fan of the food here. I ordered the Panang chicken and there was no flavor in it. Wife and daughter both ordered Pad Thai and they were mushy messes that didn't smell or taste good. I like Thai food and it's a bummer because this place is close to my house.

Went here tonight with my husband. Place was very clean and modern. Service was fast and friendly. Food was just ok, portions were small. Probably won't be back and if I did go back it would be to try the curry only.

This is my husband's and my go-to Thai place in town. He always orders the chicken pad thai and I order either the chicken pad see ew or panang curry (the chicken panang curry includes zucchini, carrots, and some other veggies in it, too, which I love). The food is consistently very good and we've only had a long wait one time (a time when we dined in -- take-out has always been ready on time). Highly recommend Arharn!

  • Morgan F.

This place has really good Thai food, although I do think it's a little overrated. My biggest issue with Arharn Thai is the inconsistency in the food. I've been here twice. The first time, I was in the area and decided to stop in to try their Pad See Ew, which is my favorite Thai dish. I got it to go and it was amazing. The second time, I decided to make a trip up to get the same meal again. I live and work near Ft. Carson, so this place isn't really convenient. This time, the Pad See Ew was just ok. I ordered it 'hot' and it was barely spicy. It just didn't taste as good as it had the first time. That's not to say it was bad, just probably not worth driving 20 minutes both ways for lunch. The service here is great. The two ladies who were working when I came to dine in were very friendly and helpful. Service was fast and I got my food quickly. However, when I asked for chop sticks, I was told they didn't have any. What!??! I don't know if they were temporarily out of stock or if they never have chop sticks, but I was pretty thrown off by that. The decor is fresh but slightly odd. Lots of fake plants and pictures of vegetables on the walls. Overall though, the space is really open and inviting. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area but I probably won't make trips all the way out to this area just to eat here again.

Yellow noodle curry was good. Ordered hot and it was a 5 out of 10 heat. Nice. Dan's garlic chicken wasn't good at all. I've had much better Thai food. Not in Colorado Springs, but in lots of other places.

  • Nick D.

Solidly good Thai in Colorado Springs. Prices are very reasonable (all under $10) and they have a great selection of traditional Thai dishes. I'm a fan of their Som Tum. Great balance of sweet, salty, spicy, and sour in the dressing. Great Pad See Ew as well! Unfortunately, I don't think the spice levels here are up to par for real Thai food. Order mild, and you'll get absolutely NO spice. Medium barely has a kick. If you want to get anywhere close to real Thai spice levels, you absolutely need to order things Spicy.

    (4)
  • Debra A.

I was excited for this place because it had so many reviews but don't think I'll go back again. For the price paid portions were small. I got mild pad thai and it was sweet. My husband got hot pad thai and it barely had any spice. I sometimes find buffalo too spicy to give an idea of what I expected for "hot". Quick service and a nice waitress gets it 3 stars.

  • Dominic A.

Great Thai restaurant in eastern Colorado Springs. Their curries are fresh, tasty, and most of all, spicy. I'm a fan of spicy food and the Thai hot option for their curries packs a punch even for me. Their summer rolls are as equally fresh and tasty as the curry. The only reason they don't get five stars is because, as other reviewers have noted before, serving portions for to-go orders are noticeably smaller than dine-in portions. Definitely worth a try if you love curry, and if you have the time to stick around for a dine-in experience.

  • Samantha S.

I had the Crab Rangoon (they called it cheese crab wonton) either way they were good a little small though. I also got the Pad Thai with chicken and added hot sauce. It was really good bold tangy flavor with super tender chicken and just enough spice. My husband got beef with peppers, onion, broccoli with garlic sauce he also got the hot sauce but his was hotter than mine not sure why. He said it was really good but the meat was a smidge tough he also got Guava juice which he loved. The price was even better than the food almost! A decent size menu and all but two things were under 10$!!!! The inside was kinda small but super casual. We will definitively go back!

  • Kelly L.

This was my first Thai experience and I was not let down. I don't like spicy food and they have the option to choose which level if spiciness you would like which is perfect for me. This is a cute environment which wasn't too crowded and had very quick and friendly service. The pad Thai with chicken was delicious I will definitely be trying out their different options more now that ive started on the Thai train!

This is a nice find in an unsuspecting location. Wait staff was cordial. Clean atmosphere. The food came fairly quickly. A variety of dishes were gobbled down just as quickly. They were all very tasty! Definitely a place to add to your go-to list.

We got takeout while here a few weekends ago. Pad See Ewe- PERFECTION!! This is a hard one to get right but these guys did it , it was not oily or over salted like others I've had. GET IT - they did this SO WELL. The phad thai was also good although drier than I like it. Apps were priced right, hubby said his meaty dish was also very good. We will be here again next trip into the Springs.

    (5)
  • Jeremy J.

The best pad Thai I've had in the Springs! The curry dishes are good if you like curry and the ice cream desserts are great! Get it Thai hot or not, it's up to you. Also make sure you get the crab cheese wontons, the best! Give it a go and enjoy!

  • Elise K.

Clean, nice atmosphere, adequate service, and good cheap Thai food. I've eaten here somewhat regularly and have never ordered something I was unhappy with. The food is a good deal for the price. I suggest the pad thai ho kai or the chicken satay. Takeout portions are noticeably smaller than eat-in portions. Overall, it's a pretty good little place.

Despite the store hours which stated closing at 8pm, we were turned away at 7:40 and told they would not seat us for dinner. Hostess was rude. We will not be back. You should update your store hours to reflect reality.

Love love love this place! You can't really get better food in the Springs for $8. I come here almost once a week. Food is prepared exceptionally fast and is consistently delicious. If you're new to Thai cuisine I highly recommend the Pad Se Eww!

  • Zebulon P.

Very clean restaurant with a very comfortable atmosphere. They have lots of plants and even a fountain so the air is just right. The staff is very friendly and I'm assuming this is a family operation. Considering traditional Thai food, this ain't my first rodeo. I've enjoyed quite a bit in my time and even had the pleasure to work for one of the best traditional Thai restaurants this side of Bangkok. Emphasis on traditional, the family I worked for was from Thailand. Perhaps my expectations were already too high for Arharn. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Even the Thai tea wasn't up to par. I feel like they got everything right but the food. To be fair, I haven't tried everything so in all likelihood I'll be updating this review in the future.

    (2)

I have had better Thai food but this is probably among the best in the Springs. Service is always good - I prefer the carry out option. Always reliable and good.

I decided to go safe and ordered Pad Thai. It literally smelled like canned dog food. Decided to taste it anyways, and it tasted disgusting. It was the second time in my adult life I couldn't swallow the food in my mouth. I pushed the plate away, and told the waitress I was done. The plate looked essentially untouched. She did not offer me to try another dish or take it off my tab.... Not to mention, when my husband went up to the counter to pay, he saw them scraping my plate into a to-go styrofoam box... Probably for the staff to take home on my dime. My husband ordered the drunken noodles which were palatable. We will NEVER return and will discourage our friends and family from eating here!

This place has rave reviews. Why? Maybe location and the atmosphere is nice? But the food portions are small and it wasn't the tastiest. It was just alright to us.

Excellent value. Excellent recipes. Clean. Quality chicken meat, unlike many of the other CS Thai restaurants. Balanced portions and flavors. They are beyond ridiculous about their silly "gotta get home by 8:30" fetish. They do not honor their hours. It's 8:15 max! They also nickel and dime you for everything. Even extra rice is $1. Insufficient satay sauce quantity forcing you to buy extra. Inconsistent food quality also. It depends who's in the kitchen. It is possible to get thoroughly greasy satay sauce as well as Panang curry lacking peanuts. Overall: we're in CS and should be thankful for this place. It's one of a tiny grouping of restaurants I get excited about in this rural food wasteland.

  • April T.

I tried Arharn last night for the first time. Cute little restaurant. Great service until it started to fill up and then I think we kind of got lost in the shuffle. I had the chicken Satay which was very tasty, but I wish there had been a little bit more sauce. My daughter tried the pineapple curry. I had a bite and it was very tasty. I'm not sure what my husband and son got, but they said it was good. This place is going to become a favorite of mine. I'm already thinking about what I will try next time

    (4)
  • M P.

Great service. Delicious, authentic Thai. Clean. I usually order the Pineapple Curry with Chicken (the Mild is just spicy enough), the Drunken Noodles with Chicken has fresh basil giving a light licorice flavor and the Thai Egg Roll with sweet sauce. All of it perfectly cooked and very fast. The homemade coconut ice cream is amazing.

It is the first time I have visited this place. We decided to dine at Arhan after reading all the positive reviews for it here. Needless to say, I agree, food is delicious and portions are great for the money. They have quick and super friendly service. The dinning room is clean, though the decor is a bit odd. Overall, it was great, will definitely be back.

So literally just left, there were four of us The food was great, and priced even better!! We ordered 3 curries, pad see eww, a dragon noodle, and a seafood salad and the total was 53.40. Enough to feed an entire 3rd world country for the price of a couple meals!! Thanks!!

Still my favorite place to get Thai food - quick, close, and tasty. We called ahead for takeout, and they told me they'd have it ready in 10 minutes. Sure enough, they were! The portions were huge and they didn't skimp on the meat or veggies. My only complaint is we ordered both the Drunken Noodle and Pad Se Ew to be "hot." One had a kick, but the other kicked harder - obviously two different levels of spiciness, and for me, the first one was more "medium." I guess they had 2 different cooks whipping up our dishes?

    (4)
  • Trish T.

This was our first visit and we will be returning. For appetizer we ordered the sampler: loved the gyoza, cheese wontons, and siu mai. The shrimp wrapped in crispy noodles was more of a novelty/experience-I thought the shrimp could have been seasoned at least; perhaps some salt? something! The crispy noodles were cool though. For our entrees, we ordered the chicken pad thai (medium hot) and noodles in yellow curry (hot). Both delicious. I thought the pad thai was a tad sweet for my taste but it was good. The noodle in yellow curry reminded me a little bit of a southeast asian Laksa dish. They also make their own hot sauce which is sambal-like=delicious spiciness!! For dessert, we ordered the pandan rice cake, and wow I was so happy to find a restaurant that does pandan! Loved the fragrant aroma and it was a tasty dessert. Service and modern atmosphere both complimented the excellence of their food. The place was packed on a saturday evening and at one point the carry-out line was rather long. I would like to return to try their curries and soy noodle dishes.

  • Ryan B.

Without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in town. My wife and I can eat here with appetizers and two entrees for less than $20. The quality of the food is beyond great. I have tried multiple items off the menu. If we want a night off cooking this is the first restaurant that we think about. It even makes for a convenient stop when shopping at the stores around it.

So I am new to thai.. so picking entrees is tricky. However after reading other reviews I ordered the Pad Se Ew. OMG Delicious! I will be back!

this is the first time going here and will not return. ordered 3 items they got one wrong. ordered curry chicken and they gave me some kind of pork, and it was all dried out. i called and they told me to bring it back and they would give me what i ordered. well thank you...lol i did and asked if they could give me an order of crab ragoon for me having to come back and they said no...wow any restaurant would do something for getting your order wrong and then having to go back to get the right item. the food was not good. terrible customer service.and the food is not even good and quite pricey.

  • Kelley C.

My husband is a Thai snob and this is his favorite place. He always orders the Masamon Curry, Thai hot and it's always good for him. I love the Pad Thai with shrimp, medium heat. I have yet to have better. Don't try to go right at noon - it's always packed. A little earlier or a little later is your best bet.

My fiance and I have eaten at a variety of Thai places on the east side of town and Arharn is easily our number one choice when we have a craving for Thai. We've eaten here for four years and keep coming back. Why? 1) The food is always very fresh - crisp vegetables, perfectly done noodles and rice, complex sauces. 2) The food is very consistent overall across multiple visits - they have their recipes and they don't vary much, and that's a good thing. Especially important is that the spice level of their curries is consistent across visits - if I order medium spiciness, I know what I'm getting. I do feel as though their spice levels trend toward the hotter end of the spectrum - that is, a medium here is what a hot would be at other Thai restaurants. This isn't a bad thing, this is just fair warning so you know what you're getting into. 3) The food is also very nicely presented (very photo-worthy food here!) - not a requirement for a nice dining experience, but nice to see them put that extra bit of effort into it. 4) A very friendly staff, which is consistent regardless of who your waitress is - no sour apples in the bunch. 5) The best Thai iced tea I've had in Colorado or California; not only is it a good portion size, it's very flavorful and doesn't taste at all watered-down like Thai iced teas at some restaurants.

    (5)
  • Christina S.

This is one of the BEST places to get your Thai Food Fix!!! The Drunken noodles are like CRUNK! Amazing!!!! The Thai tea... FANTABULOUS!!! *all said in a sing songy voice of course* ;) The service is great. Attentive, fast, clean, friendly. My favorite place to get Thai in the Springs.

    (5)
  • Cielo G.

Polite service. Panang curry was good, yet it had a slightly different flavor from any other place I've been to. The broth has a sour twang to it; not overpowering, but unique. Definitely not sweet in the way some joints destroy their curry. They use higher quality ingredients: red bell pepper, zucchini, broccoli, fresh basil. Brown rice $1.50 substitution. Most dishes less than 9 bucks. Spring rolls are available as one or a pair. They're not huge, but also reasonably priced. It's not a large place, and the noise can be a slight issue.

    (5)
  • Doug S.

March 2014 Went for the first time for dinner. Nice ambiance for a low cost Thai dinner. The Panang Curry was delicious and the Red Curry was nice and hot. Not as tasty as the Panang, but hot and spicy. The service was very efficient and courteous. I'm glad to have found something on the northeast side near Powers and North Carefree. Most of the Curry dishes are marked Gluten Free. That was a nice touch to see a clearly market menu for us Gluten Free types. My wife and I will be back when we want Thai on this side of Colorado Springs.

  • Katie K.

Service was VERY fast. They took my order and got my food out before I could finish reading an article. Super cheap for all the food you get. I ordered the red curry. It was really good. I have two complaints: 1) There is a dissertation on the back of the sign on the table about how they don't give you knives because everything is already cut into bite size pieces. Cool. Thanks for letting me know. I learned a little bit about eating Thai food, they don't use chopsticks very often, which hand the fork and spoon go into. Sweet. All for learning about different cultures. HOWEVER, the zucchini that was in my curry needed to be cut into way smaller bites. Each piece was at least 3 bites. 2) Every time they refilled my water (they were very good about keeping my water glass full) the put it on the other side of the table from me. I don't have an explanation. I got medium heat. I wish I would have gotten hot. Medium had some decent heat to it, though. I will be back!

    (4)
  • Montana W.

Meh. My family ordered stay chicken, crab rangoon, wonton soup, drunken noodles, and moo gra-thaim. The portions were smaller than other Thai places we've eaten in Colorado Springs, and the prices for these small portions were actually a bit high. My husband was particularly disappointed, so I don't think we'll be returning.

  • May J.

This place is great! Compared to other locally owned Thai restaurants, this place has modern decor that's clean and up to date. There's a separation (plants) in the middle of the seating area which makes it look a bit odd, but nothing too bothersome. I would call ahead if I had a large group of people during busy hours. I've been here several times and I have had very polite servers. Food service is very quick.I usually order any of the curries or the drunken noodles. Great portion size.My heat tolerance is a little above average compared to others but I don't think I could handle anything above medium heat without having to sip water after every bite. Definitely recommend the iced coffee. And as far as the sweet rice mango ice cream dessert it's tasty, but different. I've tried the pandan rice cake for the first time a few months ago and wasn't too crazy about it. One of my favorite places to go especially when I want a quick hot meal at a very reasonable price. I've called for take out also, and it has never taken more than 15min.

I love this place! Definitely the best Thai food in the Springs and some of the best i have ever had. The staff always gives good service, and we have never had to wait too long for our food and we are a family of five. I have never tried a dish here that was not tasty. If you like shrimp try the coconut shrimp appetizer, and you have to get the coconut ice cream with rice dessert...amazing!

As with Bhan Thai, I've found that the Pad Thai, Massaman Curry and Thai iced tea are my favorites here, and since I don't get to come very often, I stick with ordering what I know I like. They edge out Bhan Thai for pricing (very reasonable) and atmosphere. And I like that you can get the Massaman Curry in a noodle version instead of with rice (called Noodles with Yellow Curry on the menu). Definitely a gem on the Powers corridor and worth seeking out; they're in a tricky shopping center right when you turn into the Super Target off of N. Carefree.

I love this place so much! I seriously could and have eaten here 3 times a week. Their food is always fresh and well seasoned. I love the Pad Thai, and the Drunken Noodles too. The Thai Beef salad is amazing, and the green tea ice cream is a perfect ending to a great meal!

The best red curry I've ever had! Only gave it four stars because of the bad service and long wait time but it was delicious!

Cheap with large quantities. Spice is pretty mellow. I'm not a huge spicy food eater and even I get the "hot", so if you want super spicy be sure to tell them to ramp it up.

It was okay, the Pad Thai had no tofu and they didn't even put a lime with it... It wasn't too bad as far as the taste goes. Their Thai tea tasted a little off. Would I come here again? Probably not for the price or portion size. The wontons were good though!

The best Thai in the Springs. Cute, clean place with very helpful staff. Food is wonderful. Don't forget to get the cucumber salad.

Delicious and easy! A great night in when my fiancé and I are feeling lazy :D I rec. the Thom Kha Gai at a medium-HOT spicy, this restaurant is very gentle with the heat.

Another positive review. Panang Curry was perfectly prepared and solved my Thai-craving problem on this trip. ;) I ordered takeout on a fairly busy evening and was served promptly. The restaurant is in a strip mall with somewhat cramped dining area. But it's tastefully done, and I recommend the place.

Finally! Nice place for a quick working lunch in the Powers area. Nice folks, good food, without much fuss to get me back to work. Wife had veg' Pad Se Eww and and I had same with seafood. Brought back a Pad Thai beef for a buddy to! Thanks guys!

And believe me one star is one star too many! We ordered an entrée from the menu and was taken back how small the portions were. The food was okay at best and the customer service was awful. There was not enough food to fill a 6 year old let alone an adult. I would guess the portion of chicken was about 1 oz. Will never return. If you want great food, good portions and wonderful customer service go to Thai Basis.

2 stars for service. The food was alright but came out barely warm and swimming in sauce :P

First time eating here but will definitely not be our last. I've had some great Thai food in Dallas, TX and was missing the tasty cuisine. Read the reviews on Yelp and decided to give this place a try. I had the Sweet and Sour Thai style, chicken, and it was delicious. The best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had. Not sticky like the rest. My two year old loved the Tropical Rice, and she's a picky eater. The Crab Wontons were delish as well! Other reviews said the portions were small, but they were just enough for this prego. Great prices too!

So, so good. Haven't had Thai food this good in ages! We ordered chicken satay, papaya salad, pad se ew and green curry noodle. Everything was amazing and well balanced and cooked perfectly. Medium spicy is pretty spicy, nose running a bit - perfect spicy for me. I love spicy food. My new favorit place! Even the Thai tea was made just the way I like it (not sickly sweet total diabetes in a glass).

Closer to 3.5 stars. Decided to explore a little further today. Lots of great reviews for Arharn Thai. Not sure why I had so much trouble finding the place, but finally got there. Just look for the Ultimate Buffet and its a couple of storefronts to the left. Went with the A11 Mixed Appetizers. Was great, a little bit of everything. Tried the E11 Chicken Satay. The peanut sauce was delicious. The portions were a bit small, but the price was good. Would come back, but next time, would order a bit more since the portion size didn't quite hit home.

Authentic! Having frequented Thailand in years past, I often long for authentic Thai cuisine. Arharn did not sell me short. The atmosphere was distinctly Thai, with the people running the place having an obvious stake in its success. The menu was good, and the price was very, very reasonable. I will return to try different dishes in the near future. If you are looking for the "real deal" Thai experience, try this restaurant.

Clean dining room, very polite and attentive servers. The pad woon sen with chicken and the spring rolls are killer. I also like the padan rice cake. Next time I'm going to have the soup- it always smells so good!

We have eaten here since it had opened. We love dining in and taking out. Pad Thai and Thai spring rolls are our favorite.

I have so many favorite dishes here! The Pad Thai is very good! Also try the mango and sweet rice. One thing that is a little odd is the table placement. They are a little close together but its not too bad.

Great food, reasonable price, service is good, but not much room for guests.

Not impressed. I would not drive past Bhan Thai to go to this place. Not sure what people see in the food. Portions were smaller. Less flavorful. I guess the best thing going for this place is the decor. Oh, and the fact that it's up north doesn't hurt either.

This is a great little gem with authentic Thai food. The prices are a bit high, but I don't even care it is so good! The pad se ew is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I usually get it with tofu, which is crunch on the outside on soft in the center. their spices are definitely spicy, so don't try to be brave. The establishment is small, so I suggest takeout. The Thai egg rolls are so good and flavorful and the Thai iced teas are very refreshing.

To be upfront, I do not have a lot of experience with Thai food, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband ordered the Drunken Noodles. Both were really good. I actually liked the Drunken Noodles a bit more. My husband does not like Pad Thai for the most part, but he thought that their's was very tasty. They were a good blend of spicy and flavorful. The service was relatively quick and very friendly. If looking to expand your palate with some Thai food, I'd say this is probably a good place. The menu had a pretty wide variety and had good descriptions of what each dish contained.

This is one of the best Thai places I've been to. My Phad Thai was great and the pricing was very reasonable. However, I have never been to a Thai place that was so clean and vibrant.

My go-to local Thai place. Food is always fresh and I'm a fan of the curries and noodle dishes. CoS is hit or miss as far as variety of dining, although I was spoiled living in DC for a time. I've tried a number of items on the menu and the only thing I don't love here is the Pad Thai. I'm not a huge Pad Thai fan but I do try it once at most Thai places as benchmark. Arharn's is a smidge sweeter than I prefer. The rest of the noodles and curries (green and pineapple in particular) are very good. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and if ordering take-out, they're quick and have always gotten my order right.

Great food, friendly staff, clean and modern atmosphere. One of the best Thai places in Colorado Springs, I've noticed they're not as spicy as other places, but the flavor makes up for it. The best things here are the beef Pad Thai (Thai hot) with the crab cheese wontons as an appetizer. I've heard the Drunken Noodles are good but haven't had them yet. Last but not least, it's fast, I can be in and out of here in 30-45 minutes depending on how rushed I am, so it's perfect for a short lunch while working.

Excellent food. We were family of 8. It was hard first to figure out the seating since the place is small. Our family liked royal chicken, spicy chicken egg roll, pad Thai, Thai basil, green curry. Had local brews as well.

Fantastic Thai on the east side! The fried rice is light (not greasy) and the entrees exceed expectations. Very clean place, and the waitstaff is very attentive and prompt.

Excellent, authentic food at a reasonable price. Many vegetarian or vegan options, and a huge selection of rice, noodle, curry and other dishes. Pleasant understated decoration and quick service complete a great experience.

Pad Thai is awesome! The place is not very big, but the food here is worth it!

Not a bad restaurant, the real bonus is the clean atmosphere since it's in the newer northeast side of town. For the price, I expect better food, as this place is a notch more expensive than the other Thai places I've been to and enjoy.

My favorite Thai food in Colorado Springs! I love this place! It's clean and fresh decor is playful, but it's the food that wow's you! I had the green curry and the flavors were amazing. I ate the whole bowl. ;) Great place for lunch with a friend! If you go in a group of 3 more, get there early or late because there aren't a lot of tables. Oh! And they have gluten free items marked for you on the menu.

I got the beef salad and shrimp tom yum soup. The beef was a little too well done. It seemed like they grilled a steak and then used a meat slicer to cut thin strips. Way different than I'm use to. The Tom yum was decent. Wished the flavored it with a little more ginger. Didn't taste any lemon grass. I guess this is as good as it gets here in C Springs for Thai. Veggies were fresh but bland.

Every meal I have had there is delicious. It's the best Thai place in town I seriously mean it. I have order Pad Se Ew, Green and Red Curry, and Drunken Noodles of the few dishes to name and they have all been good. I would recommend the Thai Milk Tea to help offset the spiciness. You are able to chose the level of spiciness so be careful with some of the naturally spicier dishes. A good small appetizer are the vegetarian egg rolls. The food is every authentic and they have speedy service.

A genuine fav! Odd location but excellent food, service, prices and atmosphere. I look forward to dining in because it is always so fast and the place is very clean. The Thai tea is crave-able and I really appreciate the many gluten free options. The Pad Thai made with rice noodles (name escapes me), has salvaged a bad Monday more than once.. The food is CONSISTENTLY and comfortingly good.

The best Thai food in Colorado Springs, and the best I've had since my trip to Bangkok! For an appetizer, I get the Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad - hard to find this authentic Thai dish anywhere, so I was excited to see it on the menu)! Always followed by the Pad Woon Sen. I usually go with a friend and choosing another dish is so hard, everything is so good - from the curry dishes to the noodle dishes. And of course, you have to get the mango and sticky rice for dessert! Service is always very friendly and fast. Fun, colorful atmosphere - just wish they had a few more tables for when they are busy on a Friday night. Very affordable. Oh - and try the Thai Ice tea!

Very good Thai food. Choo chee pla us my favorite here. Pad Thai ho kai it's also fantastic. Clan and inviting atmosphere. Service is good but not great. I go for the food though.

Sorry guys, this place just isn't that good. At every new Thai restaurant, I get massaman, pineapple curry, and pad thai. While the pineapple curry was passable, the massaman was flavorless and the pad thai was not very good. It's truly saddening that CoS has so few decent Thai and Indian places (in fact, 0 that we've enjoyed this far)!

We lived in Asia for five years. This is hands down, the best Thai food we have had in years! Better than Thai food in Hong Kong or Japan! The food is fresh and flavorful, the service, perfect, and the establishment very, very clean! My husband has spent a lot of time in Thailand, also, we've lived from DC to Seattle to Tampa, this is the best Thai he has had outside of Thailand itself! We are hooked, just wish you were closer to Briargate!

I rate it three because I was so ticked at their disgusting Thai ice tea, which tasted like water. I ordered a Thai ice tea with no ice and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was pretty good but it tasted like they supplemented the ice by dumping water in my cup, which unfortunately was to-go. I'll give them one more shot though since the reviews are so good.

Decent Thai restaurant but not my most fave. They tropical fried rice doesn't compare to my fave Thai place in town and occasionally the spice isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. I like their drunken noodles and garlic fried pork. But two of my fave Thai dishes pineapple curry fried rice & pad Thai aren't my favorite dishes here.

I have never had a dish here that was not great. Friendly and quick service. Authentic taste and fresh ingredients (see pictures). Clean dining room and bathrooms. Plenty of heat if you desire it. Overall, I've been here 6 times and will continue to do so. Also, the price is definitely right here. Highly recommend the Tilapia dish and the shrimp soup.

The only bad thing about this restaurant is they don't deliver :( The pad thai is excellent and egg rolls are good! This is one of the better thai places in the springs.
